REMINDER: Enhancements to the current ACH process

The TPA is reminding all CGDP participants of a change in the way the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Identifier information will be included in our Automated Clearing House (ACH) credit transaction communications effective January 2017.

An EFT Identifier included with CGDP payments currently appears in the Description field of the transaction record transmitted to your bank. Enhancements to the current ACH process implement the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) Standard Entry Class (SEC) code ACH format of a Corporate Credit or Debit with Addenda record (CCD+).  This modification to CCD+ will relocate the EFT Identifier from the Description field to the Addenda record.

There will not be a visible difference in the CGDP Portal; however, the bank statements will look different. We encourage the organizations to check with their banks to assure the Addenda record of a CCD+ transaction appears on the bank statements.

If you have any questions, please contact the TPA by phone at 1-877-534-2772, option 1 or by email at tpaoperations@tpadministrator.com.
